  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mustard Seeds

  • 1/4 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 0.13 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon Fresh Coriander Leaves, Chopped

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and dry the okra pods, then trim the ends and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and curry leaves. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and oil starts to separate.
  • STEP 5.Add the okra pieces and mix well. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • STEP 6.Finally, add garam masala powder and fresh coriander leaves. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Serve hot with rice or roti.
