STEP 1.Mix all the ingredients are given under the dough section and add water gradually. Add oil and knead. Let the dough rest for 1 hour.
STEP 2.Rinse toor daal and soak for 30 minutes.
STEP 3.Cook daal in a pan with 2-3 cups of water.
STEP 4.Make jaggery syrup in the mean time.
STEP 5.Add 2-3 tbsp of water to jaggery in a pan and cook till it melts and forms syrup.
STEP 6.Now to the cooking daal, add jaggery syrup, poppy seeds and coconut to the amount as instructed in the section above.
STEP 7.Cook for 2-3 minutes.
STEP 8.Grind the mixture.
STEP 9.Make dumplings of this mixture.
STEP 10.Take plastic sheet, add oil to it and spread the dough evenly on it and place the dumpling in the middle. Cover the dough evenly around the dumpling and pat them gently in the form of round shape. Keep these aside.
STEP 11.Take a pan, add some oil to it. And carefully place them on the pan with drizzling oil. Serve hot.
