  • 0.33 nos cup chopped vegetables - beans
  • As required Carrots
  • As required Peas
  • As required Cauliflower
  • 0.33 nos small potato chopped
  • 0.33 nos Chopped onion medium
  • 0.33 nos tsp grated ginger
  • 0.67 nos green chillies
  • 0.67 nos big tomato chopped
  • 0.67 nos Tbsp oil
  • 0.33 nos Tbsp ghee
  • As required Curry leaves (few)
  • 0.33 nos Tsp cumin seeds
  • 0.33 nos Tsp sugar
  • As required to taste Salt
  • 0.33 nos Pinch asafoetida
  • As required Mint leaves and lemon for garnish
  • 0.83 nos Cup water

Directions: Oats Tomato Khichdi Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a kadai. Then add chopped onion, ginger, cumin seeds stir it continuously, then add curry leaves, Asafoetida and chopped tomato, add salt to taste, cook it. Then add chopped vegetables, cover and cook until tender on low flame.
  • STEP 2.Then pour the water, now keep the flame high, till it reaches boiling point then add oats and ghee mix well cook for about another 3 minutes. Decorate with mint leaves and lemon. Serve hot with raita...
