STEP 1.Heat a non-stick pan, add mawa and sugar and mix well. Continue to cook, stirring continuously on a low heat, till sugar dissolves completely.
STEP 2.Add grated coconut, nuts cardamom powder and mix and cook, stirring continuously on low heat for 5-7 minutes or till thick.
STEP 3.Transfer the mixture onto a plate and set aside to cool completely.
STEP 4.Transfer a generous portion of mixture into a modak mould. Demould, arrange the modaks on a serving platter and serve.
