STEP 1.In a pressure cooker add 1 cup of broken rice and 2 ½ cups of water. Cook till 1 whistle.
STEP 2.Melt ¾ cup of jaggery in ½ cup of water in a vessel.
STEP 3.Filter the melted jaggery and boil it in a pan with 2 tbsp ghee.
STEP 4.Add the boiled wheat and stir continuously.
STEP 5.Pour in 2 cups of thin milk and allow to boil to get a thicker mix.
STEP 6.Add a pinch of salt and ½ tsp of cardamom powder.
STEP 7.Add ½ cup of thick milk and stir the mix well. Do no boil. Turn off the flame.
STEP 8.Garnish with roasted cashews and raisins.
