Ingredients for Nigerian Fish Roll Recipe

  • 2.50 cup Plain Flour
  • 4 tablespoon Margarine
  • 1 Nos Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 14 ounce Mackerel
  • 6-8 tablespoon Water
  • 2 Nos Green Onions
  • 1 Nos Small Onions finely chopped
  • As required Cayenne Pepper To Taste
  • As required Enough Oil For Frying
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar

step 1

  • STEP 1.In a bowl mash fish with onions,green onion,and cayenne pepper and keep the bowl aside.

  • STEP 1.In another bow add flour,baking powder,sugar,salt and margarine and add in egg in the flour bowl and combine it well. Now add water little by little to make a dough.

  • STEP 1.Transfer the dough to a workplace,cover it and leave it rest for 10 minutes and now flatten the dough 1/8 inch thickness and cut it into rectangles.

  • STEP 1.Now fill each rectangular dough with 1-1 1/2 tbsp fish and roll it

  • STEP 1.1. Add oil in a pan & heat it. Now gently place the fish balls and fry until golden brown
