STEP 1.crush 3 garlic, 2 shallots and 2 dry red chili in a mortar.

STEP 1.set a pan on the stove with cooking oil. Splutter ½ tsp mustard seeds.

STEP 1.add the crushed mix and a few curry leaves. Saute till the mix turns a pale brown color.

STEP 1.add ½ tsp turmeric powder and 1 tsp chili powder. Saute till the raw smell of chili powder is completely gone.

STEP 1.now transfer the cooked plantains. Saute for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame.

STEP 1.turn off the flame and garnish with few curry leaves.
