STEP 1.1) Soak saffron strands in milk and keep aside.
STEP 2.2) In a pan heat approximately 1 cup water. Add sliced onions, green chilies, garlic cloves, cashew nuts and watermelon seeds. Boil for 5-7 minutes.
STEP 3.3) Cool down and grind in mixer grinder and make paste.
STEP 4.4) In a pan heat ghee. Add bay leaf, cloves, cinnamon stick, green cardamom and cumin seeds.
STEP 5.5) When cumin changes color, add prepared paste and saute on low flame until ghee separates. Add whisked curd and saffron milk. Mix well. Cook for couple of minutes
STEP 6.6) Add black pepper powder, kitchen king masala and kasoori methi. Add salt and some water if required. Cover with lid and cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
STEP 7.7) Add paneer cubes and cook for couple of minutes.
STEP 8.8) Delicious Nawabi paneer is ready to serve. Serve with nan, paratha or roti.
