Ingredients for Naranga Achar Recipe

  • 3 cup Leftover lemon
  • 1/2 cup Red chilly powder
  • As required Salt
  • 1/2 cup Vinegar
  • 3 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • 2 No.s Dry red chilly
  • 2 Curry leaves stem
  • 1 teaspoon Fenugreek powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Asafoetida powder

Directions: Naranga Achar Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate 3 cups sliced lemon with ½ cup chilly powder, ½ cup vinegar and 1 tsp salt. Store in the refrigerator for 2 months.
  • STEP 2.In a pan heat 3 tbsp oil. Splutter 1 tsp mustard seeds. Add 2 dry red chilly and 2 stem of curry leaves. Stir and mix.
  • STEP 3.Add 1 tsp fenugreek seeds and ½ tsp asafoetida powder. Saute well.
  • STEP 4.Now transfer the sliced refrigerated lemon to the gravy and mix well.
