Ingredients for namkeen vermicelli Recipe

  • 0.33 cup Sewai
  • 0.33 nos Onion Chopped
  • 0.33 nos potato peeed and chopped
  • 0-0.33 nos green chilli chopped
  • 0.33 nos string curry leaves
  • 0-0.33 tsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • As required To taste salt
  • 0.33 tsp black pepper powder
  • 0.08 tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.17 tsp cumin powder
  • 0.17 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 0.33 tsp Lemon juice

Directions: Namkeen Vermicelli Recipe

  • STEP 1.Dry roast the vermicelli. Keep aside.
  • STEP 2.Take a wok heat oil. Add cumin seeds and green chilli. Saute for few seconds.
  • STEP 3.Add onion, potato and curry leaves. Mix it well. Cover it with lid. Cook on low medium flame till potato becomes soft.
  • STEP 4.Add salt, turmeric powder, cumin powder and black pepper powder. Mix it well. Add roasted sewai. Saute it for a minute.
  • STEP 5.Now add 1.5 cup hot water in it. After one boil, turn the flame low. Cook it for 5-6 minutes. Cover it.
  • STEP 6.When sewai becomes soft. Turn off the flame. Add lemon juice. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.Serve it hot.
