Ingredients for Namkeen Sooji Recipe

  • 1 cup Semolina
  • 1 teaspoon Ghee
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed
  • 4-5 strig curry leaves
  • As required Grated ginger
  • As required Chopped Onion
  • As required Grated carrot
  • 5-6 cashew nuts
  • As required Diced Tomato
  • As required Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 2 teaspoon chopped coriander leaves

Directions: Namkeen Sooji Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Roast the semolina(light roast dont make it brown). And let it cool

step 2

  • STEP 2.Grate the onion, ginger, and carrot.

step 3

  • STEP 3.Chop tomato.

step 4

  • STEP 4.In a pan now heat 1 tsp of ghee/oil and add cumin seed, mustard seed, and curry leaves. Saute them well.

step 5

  • STEP 5.Now add the grated ginger, onion, and carrot. mix them well.

step 6

  • STEP 6.Add a handful of cashews and at last, add the chopped tomato.
