A famous recipe of bengal of crispy balls of jaggery with coconut Naarkel Naru or Sweet Coconut Balls, a sweet treat made with just 3 ingredients, makes an appearance as the second part of my Nolen Gur Series. It’s a very versatile recipe and I say so because you can actually use this even as filling for other Indian desserts such as Patishapta, Pithe, etc.

Ingredients for Naarkel'Er Naru Recipe

  • 500 gram Freshly scraped coconut
  • 300 gram Jaggery made from sugarcane
  • 75 gram Sugar
  • As required Ghee

Directions: Naarkel'er Naru Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mix the coconut,jaggery and sugar

step 2

  • STEP 2.Heat a pan add mixture,

step 3

  • STEP 3.Keep heating the mixture

step 4

  • STEP 4.Make small balls

step 5

  • STEP 5.Do not let cool or else the mixture will get harden

step 6

  • STEP 6.Apply ghee on the balls to make round

step 7

  • STEP 7.Let the cool to harden

step 8

  • STEP 8.Serve as dessert snack
