Ingredients for Naam Pla Wan Recipe

  • As required For Nam Pla Wan
  • 150 gram palm sugar
  • 2 tablespoon 3 fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fermented shrimp paste
  • 2 tablespoon Water
  • 2 As required 3 Tbsp shallots
  • As required Thai chilies, thinly sliced or minced
  • 3 tablespoon dried shrimp
  • As required Tart, firm fruit for dipping: green mango, green apple, underripe pineapple, firm tart strawberries, cape gooseberries, etc

step 1

  • STEP 1.Combine palm sugar, fish sauce, shrimp paste, and water in a tiny pot and cook on medium-low heat till the sugar is dissolved.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Meanwhile, grind dried shrimp in mixer till fine and once the sugar gets dissolved turn off the flame and add dried shrimp and shallots to it and give it a good mix.
