Ingredients for Mysore tomato Rasam Recipe

  • 0.13 cup Dal
  • 3/4 Pieces Tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup Imli pulp
  • 1/2 tsp Rasam powder
  • 1/4 tsp Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 0.06 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/2 g reen chillies
  • 1/4 inch Ginger
  • As Required Some coriander leaves
  • As Required As per taste Salt

  • STEP 1.In a cooker boil toor dal with some salt n turmeric. Take a kadai boil water as pinch of salt n add tomatoes with slits into it as it comes to boil....
  • STEP 2.Peel the tomatoes ... Chop them n crush in a mixer grinder Keep the tamarind pulp water ready.
  • STEP 3.Now put the Kadhai on gas add oil n mustard seeds as it crackers add hing n add tomato puree in it...
  • STEP 4.When it comes to boil add dal n spices n let it simmer on slow gas..add chopped coriander leaves and serve it hot with bonda ,idly,rice ....,..
