It is the most popular snacks originating from Mysore, Karnataka which needs simple ingredients to get ready. Mostly served as breakfast with nice coconut chutney .

STEP 1.In a large bowl take 1.5 cups Maida, 1/2 cup Rice flour, 1 tsp Cumin seeds, 1/4 cup Curd and 1 cup water.Mix well
STEP 2.Now add 1 small-sized chopped onion, 1 chopped Green chilli, 1/2 inch Ginger (finely chopped) , few Curry leaves (finely chopped), 1 tsp Salt/as per taste and 1/4 tsp Baking soda.
STEP 3.Mix well in one direction.
STEP 4.A thick and mixture is ready. Now, cover and rest it for 15 mins. After 15 mins stir it again.
Now dip your hand in the water and pinch a ball sized batter.
STEP 5.Drop in hot oil, keeping the flame on low to medium.
STEP 6.Stir it and fry until the bonda turns golden brown and crisp.
STEP 7.Transfer them onto a plate and enjoy with coconut mint chutney..
