  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil

  • 1/2 Green Chilies, Slit
  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Pureed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the mutton pieces with turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add the marinated mutton pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
  • STEP 4.Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder. Mix well.
  • STEP 5.Add water and pressure cook for about 4-5 whistles or until the mutton is tender.
  • STEP 6.Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and simmer the curry for a few minutes until the desired consistency is reached.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
