  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Pureed
  • 1/4 teaspoon Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Crushed Peppercorns
  • as needed Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the mutton pieces with turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell disappears.
  • STEP 4.Add marinated mutton pieces and cook until they turn brown.
  • STEP 5.Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Add water and pressure cook for about 5-6 whistles or until the mutton is tender.
  • STEP 7.In a separate pan, heat oil and add crushed peppercorns. Roast until aromatic.
  • STEP 8.Add the roasted pepper to the cooked mutton and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 9.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
