  • 1/4 cup Yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fennel Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
  • 1 Onions, Finely Chopped
  • 1.50 tablespoon Pickle Masala
  • 0.13 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • as required Fresh Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, marinate the mutton pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, and mustard seeds. Let them splutter.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Then, add the marinated mutton and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 4.Add the pickle masala, tomato puree, and water. Mix well and pressure cook for about 20-25 minutes until the mutton is tender.
  • STEP 5.Once cooked, garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.

  • You can use any type of pickle masala of your choice to give the dish its unique flavor.
  • Marinating the mutton for a few hours or overnight will enhance the taste and tenderness.
