  • 1 Bay Leaves
  • 1/2 inch Cinnamon Stick
  • 1.25 Damom Pods
  • 1.25 Ves
  • 1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 Tomato, Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the fish head with turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish head until golden brown. Set aside.
  • STEP 3.In the same pan, add bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cardamom pods, and cloves.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped onions and cook until golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 6.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft.
  • STEP 7.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 8.Add soaked rice and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 9.Add water and bring to a boil. Cover and cook until the rice is done.
  • STEP 10.Add the fried fish head and mix gently.
  • STEP 11.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
