A very easy mughlai dish prepared from rice pudding & condensed sugar pista mixture.Phirni/firni is a mughlai style rice pudding or rice kheer..

STEP 4.Soak few saffron stands in half cup of milk
STEP 5.Add milk in a kadai and boil it. Now add rice and cook it for 45 mins at low flame.
STEP 6.After 45 mins add some raisins. Now add sugar and mix well.
STEP 7.Add saffron milk and cook for 2 mins. Then add caradamom powder and turn off the flame.
STEP 8.Take a pan and add 3 tsp sugar and heat it until it changes into a syrup.
STEP 9.Pour the sugar mixture in a small plate and let it rest for 30 mins. The sugar syrup will settle down into a solid circular piece.
STEP 10.Then break it into 4-5 pieces and mount it on rice pudding.
