  • 1/4 inch Ginger

  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

  • 1/4 cup Water

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and fry the fish until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • STEP 3.In the same pan, add mustard seeds, fennel seeds, green chilies, ginger, and garlic. Grind into a smooth paste.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a pan and add the ground paste. Cook until the raw smell disappears.
  • STEP 5.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 6.Add water and bring the gravy to a boil. Add the fried fish and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice.
