#Snack Moong dal goli is a very healthy snacks recipes made from moong chilka dal. Grind the Soaked dal with salt,  heeng and red chili powder,  then add water. cook it to a halwa consistency to make small balls.

Ingredients for Moong dal ki goli Recipe

  • 1/2 gram Green gram
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 Pieces inger
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  • 1/4 tbsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Coriander powder
  • 0.13 cups Chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup Chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 tbsp Lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp Garam massala powder
  • 1/2 tsp Dry mango powder
  • 1/4 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • As Required Coriander leaves for garnishing

Directions: Moong Dal Ki Goli Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak the green gram for 4 to 6 hour at least, wash and remove the skin, blend till smooth with 1 glass of water.
  • STEP 2.Add 1 tsp salt,  ginger, garlic paste, asafoetida, 1 tsp turmeric and dal mix well,
  • STEP 3.Now heat 1 tsp oil in a non-stick pan and cook the batter till it becomes thick in consistency like halwa.
  • STEP 4.Cool  down the mixture and divide into equal portion then make the balls, keep aside.
  • STEP 5.Heat the oil in a pan or a kadhai, add cumin as they change the colour add onion and fry until tranculant.
  • STEP 6.Now add dry spices cook for 2 minute, add chopped tomatoes, cook till oil separates.
  • STEP 7.Now add the balls and mix well with spices. add lemon juice and garam masala powder
  • STEP 8.Stir 2 minutes more, turn off the gas.
  • STEP 9.Garnish with coriander serve hot  with tea.
