Moong dal goli is a very healthy snacks recipes made from moong chilka dal. Grind the Soaked dal with salt, heeng and red chili powder, then add water. cook it to a halwa consistency to make small balls.
STEP 1.Soak the green gram for 4 to 6 hour at least, wash and remove the skin, blend till smooth with 1 glass of water.
STEP 2.Add 1 tsp salt, ginger, garlic paste, asafoetida, 1 tsp turmeric and dal mix well,
STEP 3.Now heat 1 tsp oil in a non-stick pan and cook the batter till it becomes thick in consistency like halwa.
STEP 4.Cool down the mixture and divide into equal portion then make the balls, keep aside.
STEP 5.Heat the oil in a pan or a kadhai, add cumin as they change the colour add onion and fry until tranculant.
STEP 6.Now add dry spices cook for 2 minute, add chopped tomatoes, cook till oil separates.
STEP 7.Now add the balls and mix well with spices. add lemon juice and garam masala powder
STEP 8.Stir 2 minutes more, turn off the gas.
STEP 9.Garnish with coriander serve hot with tea.
