Ingredients for Moong Dal Ka Shorba Recipe

  • 3/4 cup moong dal, soaked and drained
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 1 green chili
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • As required Salt
  • 2 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon mustard oil
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic

  • STEP 1.Soak the moong dal

  • STEP 2.Chop the onion and tomato

  • STEP 3.In a pressure cooker , add the soaked and drained moong dal,½ cup finely chopped onion, ½ cup chopped tomato, 1 green chili ,1tsp red chili powder,1tsp chopped ginger,½ tsp turmeric powder, salt to taste,1tsp garam masala and 1 cup of water mix well and cook

  • STEP 4.Heat 1tbsp oil in the ghee

  • STEP 5.Add 1tbsp chopped garlic

step 6

  • STEP 6.Add the cooked dal and 1 cup of water

step 7

  • STEP 7.Cook for 5mins and serve .
