Ingredients for Moong Dal Bhajia Recipe

  • 0.33 cup Yellow moong dal
  • 0.33 g Big onion finely chopped
  • 1 g 3-4 g
  • 0.33 Tbsp Small piece of grated ginger
  • A Pinch Pinch of hing
  • 0.08 tsp Crushed coriander seeds
  • 0.67 g Pinch of garam masala
  • As Required Red chilli powder as per taste
  • handful Of finely chopped coriander
  • 0.08 tsp ajwain
  • 0.17 tsp Chaat masala
  • To Taste salt as per taste
  • 0.17 tsp jeera powder
  • A Few Curry leaves finely chopped

Directions: Moong Dal Bhajia Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the moong dal for atleast one hour.
  • STEP 2.Drain the water and wash it once and remove the water and keep it in a strainer.
  • STEP 3.Take a grinder and add soaked moong dal along with green chillies and grated ginger and grind.. Do not add water..
  • STEP 4.Remove in a bowl and whisk it with a spoon for atleast 5-7 mins..and add chopped onions,curry leaves, salt, chaat masala, jeera powder, red chilli powder,coriander seeds, garam masala and chopped coriander..
  • STEP 5.Mix everything well..
  • STEP 6.Keep oil for frying..
  • STEP 7.Drop bite sized batter in hot oil and fry till nice golden and crisp..
  • STEP 8.Serve hot with spicy green chutney..
