Ingredients for Moong dal Recipe

  • 1 Cup moong daal
  • 1 Tbsp teaspoon jeera seeds
  • 1 Tsp teaspoon jeera powder
  • 1 Tbsp tablespoon dhaniya powder
  • 1 Tsp Teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 Cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 Tsp teaspoon ginger paste
  • 1 Tsp teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/2 Tsp teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 Pieces bay leaf
  • 1 Pieces whole dry red chilli
  • To Taste salt and sugar
  • As Required Mustard oil

Directions: Moong Dal Recipe

  • STEP 1.Now heat oil and temper jeera seeds bay leaf and red chilli
  • STEP 2.Dry roast the moong daal
  • STEP 3.Pressure cook it for one whistle
  • STEP 4.Heat oil and temper jeera seeds bay leaf and red chilli
  • STEP 5.Add ginger paste and all the masalas and saute well till the raw smell disappears
  • STEP 6.Add desiccated coconut and sugar mix well
  • STEP 7.Pour the boiled daal and allow it to simmer
  • STEP 8.Finally add ghee and garam masala powder
  • STEP 9.The daal is ready
