Crispy coated beef steak simmered in a chilli, garlic and soy sauce reduction. This is a great-tasting recipe that is easy to prepare ahead and takes minutes to actually cook it! Serve with rice and veggie side for a nice family dinner!
STEP 1.1.in a flat plate add 6 tbsp cornflour and spread it out.

STEP 2.2. Place 250 rump steak thinly sliced in the cornflour and coat all the sides.

STEP 3.3. Keep aside for later.

STEP 4.4. In a mixing bowl add 50 ml water -50 ml light soy sauce, 3 tbsp brown sugar and stir to dissolve the sugar.

STEP 5.5. In a saucepan heat 1 tbsp oil and add 3 cloves finely chopped garlic, 10 gm finely chopped ginger and stir fry for a few seconds.

STEP 6.6. Then add the sauce mixture and stir.

STEP 7.7. Bring to a boil, then reduce the what and simmer till the sauce thickens.

STEP 8.8. In a wok heat ½ ltr oil, add the beef steaks into the hot oil and fyr for 5 minutes on each side till crisp and lightly brown.

STEP 9.9. Remove from the hot oil and drain. Keep aside.

STEP 10.10. Add1 tsp chili flakes to the simmering sauce and turn the heat to medium.

STEP 11.Add the fried steaks to the sauce and cook for 1minute on each side.

STEP 12.11. Remove and place in a plate, sprinkle with ½ tsp sesame seeds and 1 finely chopped spring onion.

STEP 13.12.serve hot.
