Ingredients for Mongolian Crispy Beef With Spring Onions Recipe
500 gram Beef fillet
5 No.s Spring onion
4 No.s Garlic Cloves
5 gram Ginger
1 teaspoon Rice Wine
1 teaspoon Light soy sauce
1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce
1 tablespoon Dark soy sauce
3 tablespoon Brown sugar
1 tablespoon Sesame oil
As required Coarse Black Pepper
6 tablespoon Corn flour
8 tablespoon Beef stock or water

step 1
STEP 1.in a mixing bowl add 500 gm beef fillet cut into thin strips. Add 6 tsp corn flour and mix well till evenly coated.
STEP 1. in a small mixing bowl add 1 tsp oyster sauce, 1 tsp dark soy sauce, 1 tsp light soy sauce, 1 tsp rice wine, 1 tsp sesame oil, 3 tsp brown sugar, coarse black pepper to taste, 8 tsp beef stock or water and mix well till all ingredients are well combined.
STEP 2.in a wok heat 1 litre oil on high heat, add the marinated beef and deep fry for 4 minutes, stirring continuously to prevent the strips from sticking to each other. Fry the beef in batches. Them remove and drain. in another wok heat 1 tsp oil, add 4 cloves finely chopped garlic, 5 gm finely chopped ginger, white part of 5 to 6 spring onions cut into 1 inch lengths and stir fry for 10 seconds.
STEP 3.add the fried beef and stir fry for 1 minute.
then add the prepared sauce mixture and stir fry for 2 minutes
STEP 4.add the green part of 5 to 6 spring onions cut into 1 inch pieces and stir fry for 10 seconds. Turn off the heat. transfer to a serving dish.
