  • STEP 1.In a bowl, mix together idli batter, grated carrots, chopped beans, and finely chopped capsicum.
  • STEP 2.Grease the idli moulds with oil and pour a spoonful of the batter into each mould.
  • STEP 3.Steam the idlis for about 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.
  • STEP 4.Remove the idlis from the moulds and serve hot with chutney or sambar.
  • STEP 5.For variation, you can also add grated cheese or paneer to the stuffing mixture for a cheesy twist.
  • STEP 6.To store, allow the idlis to cool completely and then refrigerate in an airtight container. They can be stored for up to 2 days.
  • STEP 7.To reheat, steam the refrigerated idlis for a few minutes until heated through.
