Maharashtra, specially kolhapur is known for its hot and spicy cuisine. Kolhapuri masala is made with dry red chiliies, coconut and lot of spices..delicious veg and non veg dishes can be prepared with this masala. Today i have made mixed vegetable curry. You can use any vegetables of your choice. This can be served with plain rice or bhakri.

  • 1/4 Bay leaf
  • 1/2 teaspoon Poppy seeds
  • 0.06 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 0.13 teaspoon Fennel seeds
  • 1/4 piece Star anise
  • 1/2-3/4 Cardamoms
  • 1.75-2 Dry red chillies
  • 1/4 tablespoon Dry coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoon oil to roast
