  • 0.13 cup Urad Dal
  • 0.13 cup Chana Dal
  • 0.13 cup Moong Dal
  • 0.13 cup Toor Dal
  • 1/4 cup Rice
  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Green Chilies, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 inch Ginger, Grated
  • as per your need A Few Curry Leaves, Chopped

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Soak the lentils and rice in water for 4-5 hours. Grind them into a smooth batter.
  • STEP 2.Add chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, curry leaves, and salt to the batter.
  • STEP 3.Heat a paniyaram pan, add a spoonful of batter into each cavity, and cook until golden brown on both sides.

Cooking Tips

  • You can use a combination of lentils like urad dal, chana dal, moong dal, and toor dal.
  • For a softer texture, add a handful of cooked rice or poha (flattened rice) to the batter.
  • Make sure to grease the paniyaram pan with oil before pouring the batter to prevent sticking.

Storage and Serving
