1/2 cup Mixed Lentils/dal -
Directions: Mixed Dal Recipe
STEP 1.In a mixing bowl add all dals of your choice.Wash and keep them aside for 15 minutes.
STEP 2.Pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles.
STEP 3.In a pan add oil and heat it. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter.
STEP 4.Add green chilli, ginger, kadi patta and green garlic paste. Saute for a few seconds and add onions and tomatoes.
STEP 5.Cover and let it cook till it becomes soft. Add all masalas and salt. Saute for few seconds.
STEP 6.Add cooked dal and check the consistency. After one boil, add jaggery.
STEP 7.Cover and cook for 1/2 minutes.
STEP 8.Your 'Mixed dal' is ready to be served. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
