  • As required 🟠Mixed vegetables (French beans
  • As required Carrots
  • 0.38 cups cauliflower florets) chopped
  • 1/2 nos 🟠 medium size Potatoes boiled
  • As required peeled and mashed
  • 1/2 nos 🟠Green chillies finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon 🟠Ginger finely chopped
  • As required 🟠Salt to taste
  • 0.13 teaspoon 🟠Cumin powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon 🟠Crushed Black peppercorns
  • 0.38 cups 🟠Besan
  • As required 🟠Oil for deep-frying
  • As required For gravy
  • 3/4 tablespoon 🟠Oil
  • 0.13 nos 🟠 Ginger
  • 1.25 nos 🟠 Garlic Cloves finely chopped
  • 0-1/4 nos 🟠 roasted peanuts
  • 1/4 teaspoon 🟠Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 nos 🟠 large Onion
  • 1/2 nos 🟠 Tomatoes
  • 1/2 nos 🟠 green chilies
  • 1/4 teaspoon 🟠Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tablespoon 🟠Coriander powder
  • 0.06 teaspoon 🟠Turmeric powder
  • 0.06 teaspoon 🟠Cumin powder
  • 0.13 teaspoon 🟠Garam masala powder
  • As required 🟠Salt to taste
  • As required 🟠Kasuri methi for garnish
  • 1/4 tablespoon 🟠Butter

Directions: Mix Veg Kofta Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.😀Add vegetables except potatoes in food processor and grind them. Or you can manually grate them.
  • STEP 2.😀Now mix them with mashed potatoes.
  • STEP 3.😀Then add besan (chickpea flour) to the vegetables. And give it a mix
  • STEP 4.😀 now add Green chillies finely chopped,Ginger finely chopped,Salt to taste,Crushed Black peppercorns and cumin powder with the mixture.
  • STEP 5.😀You can add a little more besan if the mixture seems too watery.
  • STEP 6.Divide the mixture into small parts and make round balls from it.
  • STEP 7.😀 Heat oil for frying in a kadai. Gently place the kofta balls one by one( do not overcrowd )in the oil and let it cook from one side and then turn them otherwise it might break.
  • STEP 8.😀 cook them until they turn brown in colour. Not brown black.
  • STEP 9.😀Remove the Koftas from the oil and place them on an absorbent paper to absorb the excess oil.
  • STEP 10.😀 For gravy, heat 3 tbsp oil, then put garlic cloves.
  • STEP 11.😀After few seconds add onion saute till they turn golden brown then add chilies, ginger and tomatoes.
  • STEP 12.😀When tomatoes will turn soft switch off the flames.
  • STEP 13.😀Put them in a plate too cool down.
  • STEP 14.😀 Now in a blender add all of them and add salt according to your taste. Add 4 tbsp water and Blend them into a fine puree.
  • STEP 15.😀 now again heat a kadai put 2 tbsp oil, add cumin seeds let them splutter. Also add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder. Stir it little bit.
  • STEP 16.😀Now pour the puree and stir continuously. Add water to the kadai to adjust the consistency(so that the gravy is not that thick.) You can also add 1/4 cup milk and 1/4 cup water.
  • STEP 17.😀 Now add Red chilli powder,Coriander powder ,Cumin powder ,Garam masala powder mix well.
  • STEP 18.😀 After 5 mins add the koftas. Cook for 1- 2 mins and also garnish with kasori methi then turn off the flame. Now on top put butter
  • STEP 19.😀 Serve hot with roti or rice.
