Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Slit the green chillies lengthwise and remove the seeds.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 5.In a separate bowl, mix together peanuts, sesame seeds, coconut, and tamarind pulp.
  • STEP 6.Add this mixture to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 7.Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and salt.
  • STEP 8.Add water and simmer the gravy for 10-15 minutes.
