Methi Dal Recipe

Recipe By Iranee

Methi dal is a comfort food made with fresh fenugreek leaves simmered in delicious Tovar dal/tur dal (pigeon pea lentil) that is infused with flavourful herbs and spices. At the end of making this dal, I love to add an extra tadka / tempering of cumin seeds which adds a nice smokey flavour to this dal.
