Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Drain the water.
  • STEP 2.Heat ghee in a pan and add whole spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves.
  • STEP 3.Add the soaked rice and saut�� for a few minutes. Then add water and sugar.
  • STEP 4.Cover and cook until the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed. Garnish with nuts and dried fruits.

Cooking Tips

  • You can add a pinch of saffron strands for a beautiful yellow color.
  • You can also add a few drops of rose water or kewra water for a fragrant aroma.
