  • 1/4 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1/4 Medium clove garlic finely minced
  • As required Ingredients for the salad
  • 1.25 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup Israeli Couscous
  • 1/4 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 1/4 tablespoon Salt this seems like a lot, but very little will actually be absorbed into the pasta. add it now to season the pasta as it cooks, giving deeper flavor
  • 0.63 cup Cherry or grape tomatoes halved or quartered
  • 1/4 pound Large seedless cucumber usually plastic wrapped; about 1 diced
  • 1/4 Medium Red Onion Diced
  • 0.13 cup Kalamata olives halved or quartered
  • 0.19 cup Feta cheese crumbled. we love french feta, but any kind will do
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fresh Rosemary Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon Fresh basil finely chopped
  • 0.38 tablespoon Fresh oregano or parsley finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon Fresh thyme leaves don't worry about chopping these
  • 0.06 teaspoon Freshly ground black pepper
