Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then, add green peas and diced potatoes.
  • STEP 3.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well and cook until the peas and potatoes are tender.
  • STEP 4.Take two slices of bread and spread butter on one side of each slice. Place a generous amount of the matar aloo filling on one slice and cover it with the other slice, butter side facing up.
  • STEP 5.Heat a griddle or sandwich maker and place the sandwich on it. Toast until the bread turns golden brown and crispy.
