  • 1 Pieces 4 potatoes small, peeled and sliced about thick
  • To Taste tomato puree (tomato paste)
  • 0.67 Pieces Chopped capsicum
  • To Taste Salt as per taste
  • To Taste Black pepper....as required
  • To Taste red chili powder (opt)
  • 0.33 Tsp garam masala powder
  • To Taste As per taste Chat masala
  • as required Dhaniya powder
  • A Pinch Heeng
  • as required Oil

Directions: Masaledaar Aloo Shimla Mirch Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat some oil in a pan
  • STEP 2.Add cumin seeds to it.
  • STEP 3.Add the potatoes pieces to this pan and fry till golden brown. Take them out in a bowl.
  • STEP 4.,Now in the same pan add heeng + tomato puree +chopped capsicum
  • STEP 5.Cook till capsicum gets soft.
  • STEP 6.Now add salt, dhaniya powder, Chilli powder and mix well.
  • STEP 7.Saute it and add turmeric powder to it.
  • STEP 8.Add fried potatoes to the pan,cover it and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  • STEP 9.Serve with hot chapatis
