  • STEP 1.In a mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, besan (gram flour), turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, green chili paste, and chopped coriander leaves.
  • STEP 2.Add yogurt and oil to the mixture and knead it into a soft dough. If needed, add water to adjust the consistency.
  • STEP 3.Divide the dough into small portions and roll them out into thin circles.
  • STEP 4.Heat a griddle or tawa and cook the theplas on both sides until golden brown and crispy.
  • STEP 5.Serve hot with yogurt, pickle, or chutney.
