Ingredients for Masala poha Recipe

  • 0.13 cup Finely chopped onions
  • 1/4 tbsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 cups Beaten rice (poha) flakes
  • 1/2 tbsp Oil
  • 0.06 cup Raw peanuts
  • 0.06 tbsp Asafoetida
  • 1 Pieces Curry leaves
  • 1/4 tbsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tbsp Chopped coriander
  • 1/2 tbsp finely chopped green chillies
  • 0.13 tbsp Turmeric
  • as required Salt

Directions: Masala Poha Recipe

  • STEP 1.First, clean and wash the rice flakes in a sieve with enough water and keep aside.
  • STEP 2.Then add Asafoetida, turmeric and mix it well and after some time add the rice flakes, salt and mix it again.
  • STEP 3.Cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes and keep stirring occasionally.
  • STEP 4.Turn off the gas flame add coriander and lemon juice, mix it and garnish with dessicated coconut and coriander.
  • STEP 5.So, Kanda Poha is ready.
  • STEP 6.Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
