Ingredients for Masala khichadi, one pot meal... Recipe
1/2 cup 1-1/2 cup
0.38 cup Tur dal
1/2 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp cumin and mustard
1/4 tsp Asafoetida
1 As Required Red chillis
1/2 tsp Turmeric
As Required Curry leaves
As Required Corriendor
to taste Salt
Directions: Masala Khichadi, One Pot Meal... Recipe
STEP 1.Wash rice and dal two three times...
STEP 2.Drain water.
STEP 3.Add oil in cooker on gas. When oil is hot, add cumin and mustard. Then add , red chilli, and asafoetida in it.
STEP 4.When it well cracked, add washed rice and dal.
STEP 5.Mix it well
STEP 6.Now heat water on other side.
STEP 7.Add hot water in it.
STEP 8.Now add turmeric powder and salt to taste.
STEP 9.Curry leaves and corriendor in it.
STEP 10.Mix well it again.
STEP 11.Close the lid, and after three whistles, off the gas.
STEP 12.When cooker cooled down, khichadi is ready to eat.
STEP 13.Serve with hot oil, papad, pickle...
