Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the lentils for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Pressure cook the lentils with water, turmeric powder, and salt.
  • STEP 3.In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste, and saut��� until golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and cook until tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 6.Add the cooked lentils and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
