Invented in 1984 by Lei Garden, it has sustained its popularity up till now. This dessert can be found on the menu of many Chinese restaurants and dessert stores in Hong Kong as well as Singapore, Guangdong, and Taiwan.

Ingredients for Mango Pomelo Sago Recipe

  • 4 tablespoon pomelos
  • 1 Nos mango
  • 2 tablespoon sago
  • 650 milliliter Water
  • 150 milliliter coconut milk
  • 150 milliliter evaporated milk
  • 450 gram mango pulp

Directions: Mango Pomelo Sago Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Separate pomelo pulps and keep it aside

step 2

  • STEP 2.Slice the mango in 3 pieces and cut it into cubes

  • STEP 3.Now with the help of spoon scoop out the mango cubes

  • STEP 4.1.add 400 ml water 2 tbsp sago in a pot and bring it to a boil until sago is transparent

step 6

  • STEP 5.2.now let it cool down for some time

step 7

  • STEP 6.3.boil coconut milk along with pandan leaf and salt as per taste for flavour.then let it cool down

step 8

  • STEP 7.4.now take a bowl and mix mango pulp,water and evaporated milk

step 9

  • STEP 8.5.add 2 tbsp of coconut milk in a bowl/cup and pour with mango pulp mixture

step 10

  • STEP 9.6.lastly,garnish with mango cubes,sago and pomelo pulps.
