Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes. Drain the water and grind it into a coarse powder.
  • STEP 2.In a large saucepan, bring milk to a boil. Add the ground rice and cook on low heat until the rice is cooked and the mixture thickens.
  • STEP 3.Add sugar and mix well until it dissolves completely. Turn off the heat and let it cool.
  • STEP 4.Peel and puree the ripe mangoes. Add the mango puree to the cooled rice mixture and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with chopped nuts and serve chilled.
