Ingredients for Mango Malai Borfi Sandesh #BSK Recipe

  • 1/4 A Pinch Pinch saffron
  • 1/4 litre 1 and ½ litre
  • 1/2 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 0.13 cup Powdered sugar
  • 0.06 cup Milk powder
  • 0.13 cup Nestle milkmaid
  • 1/4 cup Mango puree or Mango Slice (Liquid)

Directions: Mango Malai Borfi Sandesh #bsk Recipe

  • STEP 1.Soak saffron in a teaspoon of milk.
  • STEP 2.Keep aside.
  • STEP 3.Boil milk in a heavy-bottom pan.
  • STEP 4.When it starts to boil, simmer the heat and add lemon juice.
  • STEP 5.The milk with curdle.
  • STEP 6.Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Strain the milk in a cheese cloth and collect the paneer.
  • STEP 8.Hold the cheese cloth under running water and wash the paneer to get rid of lemony taste and smell.
  • STEP 9.Hang the cheese cloth from a support to get rid of excess water for about an hour.
  • STEP 10.Remove the paneer from the cheese cloth and mash it with the heels of your hands till it is smooth.
  • STEP 11.Add powdered sugar and mash for another 2 minutes.
  • STEP 12.Add the panner in a non stick pan.
  • STEP 13.Add mango puree and milk powder.
  • STEP 14.Mix nicely and cook on medium heat for around 10 -12 minutes, till the mixtures thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan.
  • STEP 15.Remove the pan from heat.
  • STEP 16.Cool the mixture.
  • STEP 17.Make small balls from the mixture and flatten them a bit.
  • STEP 18.Brush the milk with saffron on top of the sandesh.
