STEP 1.1. In a pan, add Ghee, add 1 cup puffed lotus seeds ( Makhana) to it. Roast them for about 3-4 minutes till it becomes crisp and take them out.
STEP 2.2. Now take 1 cup milk, add in a pan and give it a boil. Add 1.5 tbsp sugar and stir continuously.
STEP 3.3. Now add 1/2 tbsp cardomom powder, add some Raisins, crushed Cashews, crushed Almonds and crushed Pistachios. Stir them nicely.
STEP 4.4. Take 2 tbsp milk in a small bowl, Add 7-8 saffron strands in it. Mix it till the colour changes. Now add the saffron milk in the kheer mixture.
STEP 5.5. Add roasted makhana's in it. Cook for 5-10 minutes on a medium flame so that the roasted makhana pieces get mixed. Stir continuously. Switch off the heat.
STEP 6.6. Transfer kheer in serving bowl, keep it aside to cool down.
STEP 7.7. Garnish it with some pistachio's and crushed almonds.
