Ingredients for Makhana aloo vada with Fresh coriander chutney Recipe

  • 1 cup Makhana
  • 2 pieces Boiled Potatoes
  • 2 tbsp Peanuts
  • 1 pieces chopped green chilli
  • 2 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1.50 tsp mix upwas flour
  • to taste Salt
  • as required Oil for frying
  • as required For stuffing
  • 2 Pieces Almonds
  • 2 Pieces Cashews
  • 3 Pieces Raisins

Directions: Makhana Aloo Vada With Fresh Coriander Chutney Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat a pan and dry roast the makhana in it. After they are roasted, grind it to a coarse powder.
  • STEP 2.Dry roast peanuts and coarse Grind it in mixer. Keep it aside.
  • STEP 3.Chop almond, cashews and raisins in to small pieces for stuffing.
  • STEP 4.Next, mash the boiled potatoes. Mix powdered makhana, mix upwas flour, crushed peanuts , coriander leaves, chopped chillies.
  • STEP 5.Add the salt, cumin powder and red chilli powder . Mix it well. Divide the dough into equal portions.
  • STEP 6.Take one portion of makhana potato mix and flatten it like a disc press it to make a well in the center.
  • STEP 7.Stuffed chopped dryfruits into it and bring the edges closer to seal it.
  • STEP 8.Heat oil in a pan over slow to medium flame and deep fry them until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 9.Flip gently and Cook from the both sides. Serve the makhana aloo vada hot with fresh coriander chutney.
