It's Maharashtra special spicy sabji. It's made with green corriander,dry coconute n lots of spices in stuffing.Modaks are stuffed with this n are dipped in spicy rassa.
1/2 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste or crushed ginger garlic
1/2 Tbsp Garam masala, powder

STEP 1.First for stuffing roast sesame seeds,poppy seeds,dry grated coconut,add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala,salt,green corriander ,mix all ingredients well ,stuffing is ready
STEP 2.Now take besan in bowl add 1 TSP oil,red chilli powder, turmeric powder ,salt mix well add water little by little to make medium soft dough for cover
STEP 3.Now make small puris with dough ,stuff with stuffing and make modak,Get all modals stuffed ,then heat oil on medium flame and deep fry the modakas.
STEP 4.Now for rassa heat 4 tsbn oil,add cumin seeds when splutters slow the flame,add ginger garlic paste ,saute for a minute,add red chilli powder,garam masala, turmeric powder ,salt,mix well add 2 TSP water then add onion paste,dry coconut paste mix well,saute it till it starts loosing oil,add water to adjust consistency,then let it boil.
STEP 5.Now drop the modakas in boiling rassa cook for 2 minutes,off the flame,add cut green corriander.
STEP 6.It's ready to serve,serve with roti,chapati,bhakri or rice.
