  • 2 cup Water
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

  • 1/2 tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1/2 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the urad dal and rajma overnight.
  • STEP 2.In a pressure cooker, add the soaked dal and rajma, along with water, salt, and turmeric powder.
  • STEP 3.Pressure cook for about 6-7 whistles or until the dal and rajma are cooked and soft.
  • STEP 4.In a separate pan, heat ghee and add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, and onions. Sauté until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add tomato puree, red chili powder, garam masala, and cook until the oil separates.
  • STEP 6.Add the cooked dal and rajma to the pan and mix well.
  • STEP 7.Simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the flavors are well blended.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
