Ingredients for lemon Biryani Recipe

  • 0.33 cup Of boiled rice
  • 0.67 tablespoons Oil
  • As required ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • As required ¼ cup Peanuts
  • 0.67 tablespoons cashew nuts
  • 0.67 nos green chilies slit
  • As required ½ Teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • As required ½ teaspoon Salt or as per taste
  • 0.33 tablespoons ½Lemon juice freshly squeezed

Directions: Lemon Biryani Recipe

  • STEP 1.Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Once hot add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  • STEP 2.Add peanuts and cashews. Fry with stirring constantly until nuts turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add green chilies, curry leaves ( optional) .
  • STEP 4.Saute for 30-40 seconds or until chilies have some blisters.
  • STEP 5.Add turmeric powder and stir.
  • STEP 6.Add cooked rice, salt and lemon juice.
  • STEP 7.Toss the rice gently to mix everything well and cook for 2-3 minutes or until the rice is heated through. Then turn off the stove
